I have a plethora of blue fabric, and made a quilt with a watery theme to use up some of it. I also wanted to experiment with sewing curves. The batik fabric seemed a good choice to show energetic dolphins blending in to their watery world. The hand-dyed fabric at the top represents sunbeams above the water's surface. I like to use variegated thread and free-motion stitching, and indulged myself in quilting the coral.
