This was made for a very dear friend who was going through some major life changes. Originally I wanted to make something representing our long friendship, but it evolved during the sewing process to represent the support she has received from her family. Look for one of the tallest flower's leaves supporting the smaller one's stem. The cheeriness of the yellow petals and the whimsy of the borders are offset by the dark, rainy sky fabric. The fence was a lucky afterthought, to hide a seam in the sky fabric.
